    The Chairman of the Asharqia Chamber Business Youth Council, Saad bin Khalid Al-Moajil, described the holding of the "Small and Medium Enterprises Forum", organized by the Asharqia Chamber on Sunday, 27 November 2022, as another step in support of small and medium-sized enterprises, in particular young businesses, and emphasizing their role in the overall development of the Kingdom in the Vision of 2030.

    Al-Moajil valued the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, for sponsoring the forum and supporting entrepreneurs, noting the directives of His Highness and His Highness his deputy to support young businessmen and create the best conditions and climates so that this sector is at the forefront of efforts and initiatives to achieve the Kingdom’s vision 2030. 

    The accelerator described the option of supporting small and medium-sized enterprises and providing more opportunities and areas for young businesses as a "development imperative" adopted by the State and its institutions, to bring this important forum within this context, and in the context of a domestic and international economic movement that supports the role of entrepreneurship and places it among the priorities of economic development and harnesses it the best possible to be an effective figure in development.

    He pointed out that the business youth in the Kingdom (and in the eastern region in particular) continue the path of those who preceded them, who have given and achieved great achievements that are referred to as remarkable, including the presence of the Saudi product in various countries of the world, and the presence of the national human element in various work facilities, as well as The remarkable increase in the private sector's contribution to development. All these achievements were a source of pride and pride, and they are what give us business youth another responsibility, which is to continue these bids.

    The accelerator also commended the strategic partnership step embodied in the forum between the Sharqiya Chamber on the one hand and the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises on the other. In this partnership, it is emphasized that the development process and the sponsorship of SMEs is a shared responsibility of government agencies. (represented by the Authority) and private sector sponsors such as the East Chamber, through which we look forward to the meetings of the Forum and the resulting ideas, recommendations, and proposals that serve the entrepreneurship sector and support the development process.

    The meeting, held under the auspices of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, The prince of the Eastern Province, discusses three important themes during the first session. "The role of financial technology in the empowerment of SMEs under Vision 2030". "The role of government agencies in supporting the legislative environment of financial technology and the integration of government agencies in facilitating the work of financial technology. The future of financial technology in the Kingdom under the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the empowerment of SMEs.

    The second session, entitled "Diversity of sources of financing and investment for SMEs", examines several issues, including: "Empowering the support agencies for the SME sector in the Kingdom, developing the SME sector. Challenges and solutions for financing and supporting SMEs, the role of financial technology in the rapid growth of SMEs ".

    The third session, entitled (The future of the financial technology sector in supporting small and medium enterprises), will discuss the strategy for providing financial products and services to small and medium enterprises, areas and possibilities of financial support for small and medium enterprises, and the role of financial technology in accelerating the growth of small and medium enterprises.​​
